Jeff Monroe
Jeff Monroe has over 25 years experience in Fire and EMS Service. Jeff has worked as an EMT, Paramedic, Firefighter, HAZMAT Coordinator, and a Fire Chief. He has been in paid fire service, and now serves as a volunteer firefighter. He has also worked as a full time EMT and Paramedic. He spent 5 years in the private sector, for a large paper manufacturing company, as the Fire & Emergency Response Chief. During his tenure at the City of Childersburg, Alabama he temporarily served as the Economic Development Coordinator and was instrumental in the city obtaining property, through BRAC legislation, for an industrial park.
Jeff has a Bachelor of Science degree in Fire Science from Athens State College and a Masters in Public and Private Management from Birmingham Southern College. Additionally, he is a licensed EMT and Paramedic. He has completed the coursework for the National Fire Academy's Executive Fire Officer Program. He is one of only six people in Alabama to have received Chief Fire Officer designation by the Commission on Fire Accreditation International.
He serves as an adjunct instructor for the Alabama Fire College and an adjunct professor for West Georgia Technical College in the Fire Science Program. He previously served as a Hazardous Materials and Emergency Medical Services instructor at Central Alabama Community College.

Cindy Tubbs Monroe
Cindy Monroe has 25 plus experience in business, accounting, purchasing, marketing, advertising, sales, contract administration, and other business services. She worked 17 years for a major Alabama corporation and several years for a manufacturing facility in Georgia. She has served as an Executive Director of an American Red Cross Chapter, where she became very involved with the fire service and emergency preparedness. Additionally, she has served as an elected Municipal Councilmember.
Cindy has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Alabama in Birmingham.
